Ice Storm 2009

Well we have had the worst storm we have ever had in our state! We have several inches of ice and snow which has caused massive power outages throughout the state. We have been very lucky and we are in what I like to call a "bubble". There are several blocks around us that are without power and we have been very lucky to be one of the few still with power! To say the least we feel very blessed! I am so ready for spring, bring on the warm weather!

Way to go Ash!!!

We are so proud of Ash! She has won a Golden Key Award for one of her photo's that she has taken for her photo class. She will honored on Feb 12, 2009 and we can't wait to attend. Her photo will now be sent to the Scholastic National Competition and her work could be, if chosen, shown in Carnage Hall! Plus on top of that if she wins she could be up for some major college scholarships which with her dreams could open so many doors for her!
